TWO YALE STUDENTS RE-COMMERCE AMERICA WITH YOURENEW.COM

Website Creates a New Marketplace To Renew Electronics by Providing
the Fastest, Greenest and Fairest Way to Recycle and Reuse Them

(New Haven, CT, November 10, 2009 – Twig Tek LLC, is pleased to introduce YouRenew.com, the fastest, greenest and fairest way for consumers to renew their old electronics by selling them for reuse or recycling, and get paid for doing it. YouRenew.com was developed by Rich Littlehale and Bob Casey, two Yale University undergraduate students.

Households from coast to coast are full of functional, yet out-of-date or unwanted electronics destined to collect dust or fill landfills.  In 2008, YouRenew.com was created so people can “go green and get green” by turning old electronic devices into cash. These devices are remarketed or responsibly recycled to keep the dangerous chemicals within them, such as lead, cadmium and mercury, out of landfills which prevents them from leaking into our environment and drinking water.

“We’ve always wanted to change to world for the better and decided to develop an easy and convenient way to recycle electronics and make a positive impact on the environment,” said Rich Littlehale, YouRenew.com co-founder and a finalist in BusinessWeek’s 2009 25 U.S. Entrepreneurs Ages 25 and Under. “Too many electronic devices find their way into our trash, our landfills and ultimately harm our environment. E-waste is the fastest-growing stream of waste in the U.S. YouRenew.com provides an efficient alternative to tossing electronics in the trash, and we pay our customers to do just that.”

Littlehale was recently honored as a leader in the field when asked to speak before Congress about the need for federal support in developing green solutions and utilizing renewable commerce, helping to protect the environment.

"Since our web site went live in March, we have had an ever-increasing number of customers coming to us to renew their used electronics. We continue to invest in our marketing efforts and our operating platform to accommodate what we forecast to be explosive growth in 2010 and beyond,” reports CEO, Guy Minetti.

In three easy steps consumers can responsibly get paid to dispose of electronics by visiting YouRenew.com:

  1. Search for your device — Use the search bar on the homepage to find your device (cell phone, digital camera, laptop, DVD, etc.).
  2. Renew —Answer a few simple questions about the condition of your device. Click “How Much?” to find out the device’s value and then check-out to receive a free shipping label.
  3. Get Paid — Enter your email address, shipping address and choice of payment (check, Paypal) and get paid right away!

YouRenew.com also gives the consumer the choice of how to help the environment. YouRenew.com has partnered with carbonfund.org and americanforests.org and invites the user to choose where a donation should be made.
